Dear Mary,
Thanks for all your news. I’m glad that you are fine, but I’m really sorry that because of the pandemic lockdown you feel bored and don’t know what to do in your free time. I’m sure that taking up a hobby will improve the situation. Hobbies are not only fun, but it is also an opportunity to broaden your horizons even reveal your hidden talents.
There are a lot of interesting activities that people can choose as hobbies. Some people like collecting stamps, coins or badges, others prefer gardening, hiking or taking photographs. As I am a very energetic person, I have always been interested in sports, especially volleyball. Besides, I collect stickers and coins of different countries. That gives me a chance to learn a lot about traditions and culture of those countries I’m also keen on painting and studying foreign languages. And that certainly broadens my worldview. In addition, my greatest passion is dancing, which together with going in for sports, helps me to stay healthy, to keep fit and even be graceful.
I have been dancing for the last 6 years. I can even boast of my attainments in this activity. I have won the first prize in several dance competitions. My parents support my passion because dancing isn’t only exercise that helps to be in good shape, but it is also an art itself which fills my heart and soul with warmth and joy.
Choosing a hobby you should consider several things. Firstly, think what you will enjoy doing regularly. Secondly, what you would like to learn or master. And last but not least, take into account you likes and dislikes. It should be something that will make you interested in it or even glad to do it. I know that you are a very active person and I advise you to think about going in for sports. Staying indoors, you can choose table tennis as a hobby. It will help you to relax and keep fit at the same time. I also remember that you are good at drawing. I believe it’s a good idea to master your skills in it. You know there are a lot of various online courses that can help you to do that.
