Thank you so much for your letter. It was really interesting to read about your live impressions of the concert of your favourite rock band.
As for me, I like to go to concerts, especially the concerts of classical music. You know that I take music classes and it’s not a secret that I’m going to apply to the Academy of Music because I want to become a pianist. I love music very much that’s why I often go to concerts. It is my favourite leisure activity.
Last Saturday I went to a piano concert with my parents. The concert took place in the Great Hall of Kyiv Conservatory. We listened to Beethoven’s symphonies, Bach’s sonatas and preludes and other musical compositions. All the compositions were performed by talented Ukrainian pianists Antonii Baryshevskii and Olexii Botvinov. I was fascinated by the perfect performance. I felt like I was in the fairy kingdom. And I was in a festive mood the whole next week despite the rainy weather.
Of course, music is not my only enjoyment. I like reading very much, especially love stories. And I like learning English. To read Shakespeare’s plays in the original is so exciting! The world around us is so fascinating and there are many things you can do in your spare time!
Well, that’s all about my pastime. Write me what you prefer to do when you are not studying and can relax and do the things that you enjoy.
