Thanks a lot for your letter. It was great to find out you’re doing fine. Sorry, I didn’t answer sooner, but I haven’t had a single spare minute lately with all those exams. I feel absolutely exhausted.
You know, I’ve got some news to share. Last week my friend invited me to the theatre. Frankly speaking, at first I didn’t want to go, but finally I agreed and don’t regret it now. We have a beautiful Opera House, which is situated in the city centre not very far from my house. The weather was fine, so we decided to walk to the theatre.
As for the performance we saw, it was a very funny comedy ‘Room 13’ about the adventures of some travellers staying at a hotel. (Moreover, it was a first night, so it was quite difficult to get the tickets.) The audience enjoyed the play a lot. I don’t remember when I last laughed so much. Besides, I was greatly impressed with the realistic performance of the actors.
In conclusion, I’d like to say that the choice of the performance to see depends on what you expect from your visit to the theatre. You can choose a comedy or a tragedy, it’s up to you. Anyway, I advise you to read reviews before buying tickets to be sure that the play has an interesting plot. You should also pay attention to the actors engaged in the performance if you don’t want to be disappointed. And if you like comedies, you can go to the theatre to watch ‘Room 13’. I’m sure you’ll enjoy this play.
