Dear Tom!
Thank you so much for your letter. It was really interesting to read about your trip to Spain. Sorry, it took me so long to answer you, but I have been very busy lately studying for External Evaluation.
But now I’m taking a short break, and I want to tell you about my last trip to Odessa. All my class took part in the excursion, so last month we spent two weeks in this beautiful city. There were 18 of us, that’s why we sometimes had disagreements on what to do or where to go, though we usually get along with each other quite well.
Now, after our trip, I have a clear idea of an ideal travelling companion. It should be someone very punctual because it’s important not to miss your train or plane. Besides, it’s easier to deal with people who have a good sense of humour, as it helps to cheer up on long journeys or when waiting for a delayed flight.
From my experience, I’d like to share with you some tips on avoiding conflicts with your travelling companions. First of all, you should have a very detailed plan of your trip before you start out. In this case you won’t argue about where to go. It’s also very important that both you and your travelling companion learn to compromise, and then you are sure to resolve any conflict.
