Dear Mr and Mrs Smith,
Hope you are doing fine. I’m writing this letter to say how grateful I am for your hosting me during my studies at Summerhill Language School.
I must admit, I felt very comfortable staying with you. I enjoyed so much your tradition of discussing at dinner everything that happened to each family member during the day. I think it can unite any family. Besides, I will never forget our day trips every Sunday.
As for the local food, I was especially impressed by the famous English apple pie with custard. Moreover, I realized my dream to taste fish and chips and I was not disappointed a bit.
Honestly, I was fascinated by many things there, but one of the most unforgettable ones was the trip to the amusement park in Brighton. Amazing roller coasters, horror chambers, delicious picnic – I liked it all so much.
Well, I have to end my letter now, because I promised to help mom with dinner.
I hope to have an opportunity to visit your wonderful country again and, of course, to spend some time with your family!
