Dear Carol,
I’m so excited and can hardly wait to share this great news with you. I can’t believe that that happened to me. Can you fancy that last month I won two tickets for a tour of Ukraine?
Actually, I’m writing to you to ask you to travel with me. I hope you will accept my invitation and we’ll enjoy this marvelous two-week tour together.
We’re going to start with a train journey from Kyiv to Lviv, the so-called cultural centre of our country. We’ll stay at a first-class hotel in the city centre for a few days. This wonderful city abounds in places of interest, so we’ll do lots of sightseeing there. The Lviv Opera is a must to visit, too. Just imagine! The tickets to a brilliant performance are provided at no additional cost.
Then a bus journey will take us to the picturesque Carpathian Mountains, where we’ll stay at an expensive chalet with a magnificent view of the mountain river. It’s a perfect place for hiking in the mountains and white-water rafting, which are also included. Haven’t you got hooked?
As I have already mentioned we’ll visit the Opera House, so you need to take an evening dress and high-heeled shoes to put on, as well as, some sportswear and hiking boots to feel comfortable when we go hiking.
