Thank you so much for your letter. It is really great that you are going to travel around your country. I believe travelling is the best way to learn more about your country and meet new interesting people and make new friends.
As you know I am fond of travelling. I think it’s one of the best kinds of rest. I prefer to travel by car because you can stop anywhere you want, visit places you’re interested in. You can plan your journey to your liking, and you don’t dependent on other people’s wishes and desires.
By the way, do you remember that I’ve invited you to visit Ukraine? It’ll be a great trip, believe me. I think the best time for you to come is June. Both of us will have passed our exams by that time, so will be able to relax to our heart’s content. Moreover, Ukraine is so marvelous in June. It is warm but not too hot and suffocating yet.
Ukraine is a wonderful country with interesting history and hospitable people. First of all, we’ll visit the capital of Ukraine Kyiv, an ancient wonderful city with many sights. Then we’ll go to Lviv, the so-called cultural centre of our country. This gorgeous city abounds in places of interest, so we’ll do lots of sightseeing there, too. And, of course, we will visit the picturesque Carpathians. It’s a perfect place to go hiking in the mountains and white-water rafting, which will also be included in our tour.
You should really visit Ukraine. And I’ll be happy to show you my country in all its glory. I’m looking forward to seeing you soon.
